Generation 3 PAC15 carbines, are distinguished by:
- adjustable gas block
- ventilated double-sided reloading handle MEVA PRO
- Original Cerakote® coating - Burnt Bronze or Sniper Grey
- rear plate with QD suspension mounts
- selectable barrel profile for certain barrel lengths
In addition, the PAC15 Gen 3 has features already known from the IIA generation:
- A double-sided fire selector that makes the carbine easier to use for right- and left-handed people;
- Improved trigger culture;
- reinforced flask;
- rubberized pistol grip;
- Back plate with suspension mount;
- polymer folding sighting instruments.
The PAC15 operates on the basis of Direct Impingement (D.I.) gas transfer to the slide where it expands in the internal piston, causing the slide to move backward and tightly unlatch the breech. Thanks to the linear transfer of gases, carbines with the D.I. system have low recoil and recoil.
PAC15 carbines are distinguished by the unique diameter of the side bore in the barrel, precisely matched to the weight of the moving assembly. This translates into a reduction in recoil and toss while maintaining the high reliability of the PAC15 carbine.
The carbine has a lightweight freefloat bed made of 6061 aluminum. The upper part of the bed is a Picatinny standard rail ( MILSTD1913 ). In addition, the bed has 7 planes with slots in the M-LOK system - an interface gaining increasing popularity. The mounting standard allows the installation of all kinds of additional accessories such as front grips, lighting, etc.
The carbine is equipped with a lightweight polymer flask, which can be locked in 6 positions to adjust its length to the shooter's build, the clothing and gear worn and the task at hand. The flask has holes for attaching a QD suspension. The PAC15 is supplied with folding sighting instruments.
The barrel in the carbine is made by the drag method. This method is precise and gives the barrel high rigidity and strength. The barrels maintain excellent parameters even after many thousands of shots. The life of the barrel is expected to be 10-12 thousand shots, depending on the quality of the ammunition used and the frequency and methods of cleaning and maintenance.
PAC15s are manufactured to the MilSpec standard, which means they are compatible with spare parts manufactured to the AR15 standard. The PAC15 is an excellent platform for expansion and personalization.
Suveren Arms carbines are manufactured to the same standards and norms as military weapons. The carbines are adapted for the civilian market and shoot single-fire only, so they are not covered by the restrictions of the EU Directive.
Available barrel lengths:
- 10.5″ barrel
- 12.6″ barrel
- 14.5″ barrel
