CZ P-07, introduced in 2009, was the first pistol equipped with a Omega trigger system. This system, which simplifies the hammer ignition method known from the model CZ 75, has interlocked trigger parts, allowing full disassembly and reassembly without the need for specialized gunsmithing knowledge or tools.
The most interesting feature of the system is its convertible decoker/security system. Whether the user wants to carry the gun tight and locked like a 1911, whether unlocked for double action at the first pull of the trigger, a few minutes are enough to swap the fuse for the de-cocking lever or vice versa.
In 2014 P-07 has undergone modernization, removing sharp edges and adding front serrations for the striker-fired and interchangeable rear straps. Metal sights, new trigger and cocking designs, and fiber-reinforced polymer make the gun more comfortable to carry all day, increasingly customizable to user preference, and more durable than ever before.
